Estate & Inheritance Guide
Templar Toys helps families and estate handlers identify, evaluate, and sell inherited hobby collections — fast, fair, and hassle-free. Send us photos and we'll take it from there.
Getting Started
If you've inherited a hobby collection and aren't sure where to start, here are the most important steps — in order.
Even items that look like junk — old boxes, loose parts, paperwork, accessories — can have real value. Original packaging alone can double or triple the value of some collectibles. Set everything aside until you've had an evaluation.
You don't need to photograph every item individually. Take wide shots of shelves, storage areas, boxes, and display cases. Include any brand names visible on packaging or items. These overview photos are enough to get a preliminary evaluation.
Text your photos to 904-800-9057 or email them to knightstemplartoys@gmail.com. We'll identify what you have, tell you which categories have the most value, and let you know what we can offer — all at no cost and no obligation.
If the collection is a fit, we'll schedule a visit at your convenience. We handle everything — evaluating, packing, and removing the collection. You don't lift a finger. Cash paid on the spot at pickup.
Common Questions
Absolutely — this is the most common situation we deal with. You don't need to identify anything. Send us overview photos and we'll do the research. We'll tell you what categories you have, which pieces have the most value, and what we're willing to pay for the collection as a whole.
No. We prefer to see collections as-is. Sorting and organizing takes time you may not have, and it can accidentally separate items that belong together. Let us do the sorting — that's part of what we do.
We'll be honest with you about what has value and what doesn't. We try to buy whole collections where possible — we don't cherry-pick the best pieces and leave you with the rest. If there are items we can't use, we'll let you know upfront.
We research current market values for your specific items and make an offer based on wholesale value — what we can realistically sell each piece for, accounting for our time, storage, and selling costs. We're transparent about how we arrive at the number and happy to walk you through it.
We understand estate situations often come with deadlines — house sales, probate timelines, storage unit expirations. Let us know your timeline when you reach out and we'll do our best to move quickly. We can often schedule an evaluation and pickup within a week of first contact.
We don't provide formal written appraisals for insurance or estate purposes — we'd recommend a certified appraiser for that. What we offer is a free, no-obligation buy quote based on what we're willing to pay for the collection.
