Market Value is what your items will typically be purchased for at an auction or online marketplace. We base our buy cost for your items that meet our buying criteria on wholesale cost. That wholesale value takes into account selling cost "storage, local and government taxes, time, fees, etc..." and profit after the item is sold to a collector.
Yes, photos of your items are very helpful in determining current market value so we can put together a cash quote quickly. If you have an itemized list of your items that would even be better.
After we have all the details of your item(s) that include, photos, inventory lists, condition etc... we will determine the current market value of your items. No, we do not purchase complete train layouts, train tables, or assembled train sets. We focus exclusively on purchasing individual model trains, locomotives, rolling stock, and related accessories. If you have a layout you're looking to sell, you're welcome to remove the individual trains and offer those to us separately, but we cannot accommodate pickup or purchase of complete layout systems.
